Gentlemen, what an awesome discussion. I am among you in sincerity looking within for my own peace in this existence. We will all be ok, because our thoughts and desires are from the heart. You're one of the good ones, Burt. Blessed be.

By God's Grace only Cassie67 thank you -- my hope is that others will awaken en mass and I'm only lonely and sad because I had to remove myself from society.

It's hard to express true humility or false humility in a vacuum.

Oh well.

Burt, you have friends here who love you and care about you. Don't be sad, my friend and Brother. Sometimes society can be cruel because the priorities of many are not about love, sharing, caring, and the betterment of all. Instead there is a lot of selfishness and power play going on. It forces us to look within for our own peace.

You are not alone here. You have touched our minds and hearts with your insight and unique view. Blessed be.

Thank You Cassie... truly. it is nice to share with like-minded people and have some reprieve here.

As you know, I have melancholy and have been hospitalized for it many times.

Here is a little video:

Burt.....that video was exceptional, and I agreed with all that the doctor revealed. How true so much of it was, and I could relate to it because I have battled depression for a lot of my life. I was able to kick it just a few months ago on my own through spiritual means, which was a great accomplishment for me.

So true the points that were made on society and it's role in an individual's depression, and the great need to make things better in one's life and the world around us by setting the bar too high, and not quite making it. That happened to me, and now I understand why.

Thanks for the link. That helped me personally more than you know. And Burt, once again, you are LOVED.

Cassie67 aka Debbie,

I am truly grateful that the video gave you solace.

Congratulations on your victory via spiritual means.

I too set the bar way too high.

And, I'm learning to appreciate the simple subtle joys of life as they happen.

I am striving for simplicity myself. Chaos, stress, and complications are what make my head a mess. Simple and subtle......sounds nice, Burt.

I have appealed to the Goddess to help me with this.

I am much more at peace when I live with simplicity.

Years ago I found that the most important thing in my life is what I learned from my Father. Trust and have faith in myself and look within when I am struggling with issues.

My patio, especially at night, is my quiet place of meditation and prayer. When I commune with the Mother out there I receive a lot of inspiration for whatever issues come up in my life. It is dark and quiet out there at night and I feel so close to the Mother at that time.

When one is birthed into the Great Mother a door opens to a very nurturing realm that is foreign to many cultures. Wisdom and understanding also accompany that eternal place of peace and rest. Our language changes and so do our perspectives including an openness to others that is found so seldom, however, is changing within our culture, slowly but surely.

Recently a lady, although she did not come right out and say it directly, in a left handed way, spoke of a post or two that I made in other forums about alcohol consumption. Her reference to it was that I not only partook of it myself but it seemed as though I encouraged it. She knew of the devistating affects of it upon countless families and wondered how I could condone such behavior as a healer. She was a very kind and concerned lady and in no way was condemning in her attitude. It was more of an inquiry and I was glad for her voice of opinion.

I have known the Great Mother for my entire life. Her wisdom does not coincide with mans in many cases. She has the eternal good for All of humanity in mind. Although I fail miserably as a lighthouse for healing in this world I try my best.

I asked if I could make a deal with the lady. I asked that if she would give up all illegal drug usage and empty her medicine cabinet of all perscription medication that I would give up all alcohol consumption. She would not agree. Most Americans wouldn't either.

I held up my end of the deal but because it wouldn't have made a difference anyway I did not even bother to tell the woman that I do not drink.

Her wisdom is not our wisdom. Blessed Be
