I had read a few articles on feng shui in the 1990s, was intrigued, but hadn't put anything to the test. Then I met Dennis and Buddy.
Dennis was going through a nasty romantic split and was living in a small, urban apartment. Buddy, his dog, was used to having a beautiful yard and the freedom to roam it at will. He didn't like the tiny, new apartment any more than his human did.
Every time Dennis would leave home, Buddy would bark, whine, and create general commotion that annoyed his neighbors so much Dennis got nasty notes on the door, ugly phone calls, and complaints to the management. Dennis was beside himself thinking he'd have to find Buddy a new home.
One day I asked him if I could move his furniture around a little. He asked why. I told him I'd been reading about feng shui and just wanted to play around with it a bit. He indulged me, we got to moving furniture, and Dennis really liked the new look but we were curious to know how - or if - it would affect Buddy.
The change was dramatic and instant. After that night, there were no more complaints about Buddy's behavior. No more problems with barking, whining, no notes, phone calls, or complaints to the manager. Neighbors would even remark to Dennis that they thought he'd gotten rid of the dog, it was so quiet, but they'd see them outside enjoying their daily walks.
I became a believer. Love feng shui! Can't wait to read your article. Thank you!
