It's time to make maple syrup in the northeast. Here in Ohio our maple trees are tapped and the evaporators are boiling. Here's a great recipe for maple cream pie provided by Misty Mountain Estate, a maple producer here in Ohio. You must use only 100% pure maple syrup for it to turn out properly, but it is OH, So, Good!! A tiny slice is all you need.
