Some movies are panned on release and close shortly thereafter. Some are "classically" bad,scorned from the get-go. "Glitter" and "Gigli" come to mind from relatively recent years.
Go back a little further and we find "Ishtar" a big budget Dustin Hoffman / Warren Beatty epic homage to the Crosby / Hope "Road" movies, with the reputation as one of the worst movies ever made.
I liked "Ishtar". I thought there were a lot of laughs. I've seen it several times. I liked the blind camel jokes, not to mention the pretty much awful nightclub act from Messrs. Beatty and Hoffman.
