Okee dokee. Milk with spices for breakkie.

Lunch - three whole wheat english muffins with vegemite and nutritional yeast and smart choice spread.

Dinner - Leftover slice of meat lovers pizza from the weekend. Vitamins.

Now working on water with antioxidants.

No veggies and no fruit today unless you count the marinara sauce.

I did have grains and antioxidants and meat and dairy.

Tomorrow I will do better: i've already made up the oatmeal with raisins, bananas and yogurt for lunch. I just need to ensure i have veggies with dinner.

Every day is a fresh chance to treat yourself well!

Veggies are definitely important to wiggle in there somehow smile

Been traveling and had an unusual schedule this week. And then I will be in Vegas for a few days this upcoming week. It's hard to plan my menu when I am not just home every day.

Still I will persist. Doing well on the milk. I brought a gallon of it camping with me. smile Right now working on the water with antioxidants.

Definitely travel can throw a wrench into schedules and plans - it's good to do your best and then accept that life can be variable!

Okay, a few rough emotional days in a row. I don't even know what I ate. I know there was pizza last night. Oh and several dinners of beans. Top Ramen showed up once.

Starting with today:

Water until noon (thirsty!)

Lunch: Teechino Coffee substitute and
Organic Multigrain cereal with raisins and milk

Now - water with antioxidants. Vitamins.

Tonite will be - beans from the crockpot with garlic, basil and garden herbs, diced tomatoes, nutritional yeast, some mayo and a can of mixed veggies tossed in. Some red wine for dessert.

So that will be grains, proteins, dairy, veggies and fruit. The mayo isn't the best thing, but i like it stirred in with my beans. If I had sour cream or greek yogurt i'd use that instead.

Today:

Milk with cinnamon, vitamins

Water with antioxidants

Beans with diced tomatoes, garlic, basil, paprika, mayo and nutritional yeast. I could have put in mixed veggies from a can but i was too hungry and forgot. I need to plan ahead better!

Red wine

Not a big food day, which is fine as I barely moved today. smile

Ow, ow, ow. I have female cramps today and it's bad this time. I think I will lie in bed all day and read. I have no idea what I will do about food.

I'm sorry to hear about the cramps! I'm lucky in that I've never had cramps, so I don't even have the faintest idea of what to suggest. Are there things to do to minimize them?

Dan massages my cramps, which is so wonderful of him. That helps while he's doing it and for a little bit after. Also help: certain yoga poses and stretches. Hot baths if i can find one.

Dan brought me some pizza today, which was also nice of him. So today's food is piza, with pepperonis and pineapple. At least there is a fruit in there. smile

Dear Jilly -

Coincidentally I was reading a review book last night about a woman in 1800s Texas. One of her key "traits" is that she has incredibly painful cramps! Few people believe that they are that bad for her, and it's an issue throughout the book. And yes they ended up using massage as a solution, so that's fantastic that Dan helps with that.

If a hot bath helps, how about microwaving one of those rice-filled bags and laying that on the area?
