The last time I had the cold/flu I was in no condition to drive anywhere. I was sneezing and coughing; my head and whole body hurt; and I was feverish. The roads are already dangerous enough. They didn't need me out there along with all the other distracted drivers.

It was no surprise to me to read recently that cold symptoms can cause a 50 percent drop in driving ability, the equivalent of driving after having four double shots of whiskey.
