Just to update, I have not received my acceptance letter yet, although they said they sent it. They will send me another. My friend who applied the same day I did already got her letter and had her eye exam!

Update - YAY, after two more phone calls, I finally got my acceptance letter from the Lions Club to get my eye exam and lenses. I will add more details in my frugal living forum on how this is exactly working.

I think the pink eye is done, but am not certain it's completely gone. I do wake up still with more crusties than i am used to, but it seems mostly gone.

The cats are still sneezing away, but they don't have their third eyelids exposed anymore. My vet told me they might not really get completely over it until this summer. But then they should have all the antibodies they need against future incursions.

So, next - the eye exam!

I finally did my eye appointment. Jeesh it took me long enough. I had to accomodate my tendency to pass out with dr procedures in a few interesting ways. I will report on this soon. Feeling sleepy right now. But I will add my update here, hopefully tomorrow.

Apparently my eye health is pretty good though. Whew.
