USA Network premieres the made-for-television adaptation of John Sandford's Certain Prey this Sunday, November 6th at 9pm est.

Mark Harmon stars as Minneapolis Deputy Police Chief Lucas Davenport in the 10th novel in the popular long-running series. Certain Prey was published in 1999.

If you get a chance to watch it, let me know what you think. As a longtime, avid fan of NCIS - USA reruns and all - I'm curious to see if I can separate Harmon's portrayal of Davenport and NCIS's Gibbs.

I had recorded this and just watched it. I loved it! This was way better than your average made for tv movie. I hope they make more of them. And I have never read anything by this author but will definitely look for one of his books.

Although I had a little difficulty getting past him not being Gibbs - I'm an NCIS addict - I though he did a good job. I so enjoyed the movie that I watched it again last night.

I do hope they make more of these movies in a series.

It was also interesting to see the gal from Criminal Minds as the lead female. Certainly gave her a totally different part to play.

Had a medical problem last yearand did a lot of reading. Hubby turned me on the "Prey" books. So much better than some of the silly things my sisters read. Love Lucas Davenport and his co-worker, Virgil Flowers. You'll be hooked! LLL

I've not yet read any of this books - really would like to do so. They sound pretty interesting.
