I believe that with any type of mysticism whether astrology or tarot, that no matter what they show is the outcome will always be that free will trumps all.
Take for instance something being foreshadowed that you're going to become pregnant, and you'd decide to abstain from having sex. Then your free will decision was that you were not going to partake in the actions that would make you pregnant.
