Two weeks ago I came down with the flu. It came on so fast and with such intensity I couldn't believe it. That trait of coming on fast and furious is what differentiates a cold from the flu. It's important to stay home and not expose others when you are down with the flu. Yikes Sheree, I thought I had the flu last month - at age 53, I now know when something is heading my way and had been not feeling myself for about a week before it hit me. Took about 2 weeks to finally feel myself again. To be honest, I don't get sick often, but do when I am not taking care of myself (physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally) = it is like my immune system cannot withstand the germs that I am told are around us 24 hours, 7 days a week

I agree. It seems we are the most vulnerable to germs when we are not taking care of ourselves. Glad you are feeling well now.
