Over the past couple of years I have realized that one can learn anything on YouTube. From piano lessons, to art ideas, to car and appliances fixes, if it can be taught, someone is teaching it for free on YouTube!
We are coming into a new age where we can't be technology shy! Great article and super idea for using YouTube in a positive way.
There is a great math website as well - the Khan Academy - that teachers are using to "flip" the classroom. You watch the video the night before and then can ask your questions during classroom time. It's great if a child gets stuck on a problem at home because they can look up the concept and watch a video.
Gosh, Lisa! As a homeschooling parent, I *love* Khan Academy. They don't just have math videos. They have science, economics, and more. I can't ever get over how much that man has done! Thanks for reading :-)
