I totally believe in LOA and can definitely feel it working in my life. I think the biggest benefit of studying it is being able to recognize when my thoughts are working against me and turn them around before things get out of hand smile

Focus making one more aware of opportunities is definitely a good point - I can see that definitely thinking about things that have happened in my life as well.

Hi Christin, I think that's why I love studying it too. I was thinking about it today while driving around with my family - and suddenly I just felt so connected to everything - honestly, for a moment, I felt like some otherworldly being LOL! But then I thought "wow! We really are connected to this energy that is simply trying to arrange things - that's what it does."

I was reading a book by Ernest Holmes recently, and he was talking about the law of gravity. It's a law - and it's non-judgmental. The law doesn't care if you put a toilet in the kitchen. You put the toilet there and it will do what it does - keep the toilet from floating away.

My kitchen is kind of my bathroom. I have one large utility sink in my cabin that serves for both rooms. I don't go potty in it though. I have to use the actual toilet in the mobile home. And I shower at that place I mentioned in this thread.

After dan leaves I am putting a composting toilet in here, which will mean that one room will contain both kitchen and a toilet!

Jilly and Deanna, my toilet used to be what we Aussies used to call the 'outhouse' or the 'thunder box' or just the plain old 'dunny in the back yard'.

When sewerage came, we tried to have a nice new toilet in the house, but rules wouldn't allow because our cottage was small, and there was no room in the bathroom and the rest of the suitable rooms were too close to the kitchen. So, we had the outer path leading to our back door closed in, and, where the Paw Paw tree used to be, we built the toilet! (You're allowed to giggle!) queen

So now, the toilet is next to the laundry, and it's actually STILL outside the back door, but at least now, we don't have to walk out into the back yard through all weather to go to the toilet when awakened through the night (REALLY bad) or even in the daytime. Now, we only have to remember not to lock ourselves out, and we no longer get wet when it rains!

Progress! HAH!

Melwyn.
