Susan, I got your newsletter and loved this week's article about peace.
We all yearn for peace as though it is a lofty, unreachable goal for this planet, but it truly, truly begins within our own selves first.
It's interesting to me that when I visited a Catholic Church, part of the ceremony included time when everyone said, "Peace be with you" as they extended a token of fellowship (a handshake). Not love be with you or joy be with you, but peace be with you.
When I was going through the dark night of the soul period, I heard something whisper to me to "follow the peace."
True peace. It is the only emotion that cannot be sullied or distorted. It either is or isn't there.
When one is at peace, there is no struggle or suffering. I am at peace.
