I have about $150 in spa treatments in gift certs from my mom from years ago. For some reason, I don't ever use them. I keep liking the idea that when I really need it, I can get a massage or something.

Yet, when i go through stressful times, i forget I have them. Then i go reorganizing my papers and POOF, they turn up again to taunt me.

I figure if i post here about it, I might get some encouragement and accountability to actually use these (no, they have not expired - there is no epxy date on them).

I do need to see where I can redeem them, though. I don't think any town within an hour's drive from Camp Verde is part of Spa Finder. Oh, maybe Sedona. (But i think i'd get more bang for my buck in any town but Sedona). smile

Jilly, here's a plan. Find out where you can use them. Then, make an appointment. The day before the appointment, do some heavy duty chore that you have been putting off and dreading. After that chore's done, you can think about the nice massage that you will have the next day.

In fact, make the next day all about pleasure for Jilly! Read something that you've been looking forward to. Have some food that you want to eat. Enjoy yourself.

Ooh. Yes, I like that. Both the idea of doing something heavy duty the day before and of having a total pamper day.

I know - I can do a grand canyon hike. Or have one of my brass casings hunting days. The brass casings days are all SQUAT SQUAT SQUAT for an entire afternoon. I can barely move the next day. And i then get some nice casings to resell and help clean up the landscape.
