Hello, I'm a new forum member, so I would like to take this opportunity to say hi to everyone. I'm also a tarot newbie and would appreciate a second opinion on a spread I did today. I did a Celtic cross spread as explained here [url=http://www.learntarot.com/ccross.htm]. I didn't make a question specifically, I just let the cards 'talk': Position - Card: 1: 5 Pentacles 2: Tower 3: 3 Pentacles 4: 8 Pentacles 5: 7 Wands 6: Page Pentacles 7: Ace Swords 8: 9 Cups 9: Knight Pentacles 10: 7 Cups I assume, due to the high number of pentacles cards, that the message is related to something material, money, physical. I recently lost my job.. and the message may be about it. Would someone please share your interpretation on this spread? Thank you very much and happy 2012! Rui

yep that s right ruia,eventhough you didn t ask the question it is still going to reflect your state ofmind and why you dothe drawing.
youll get a new job but it might be different from the job you had.also the fact you lost it is good thing and you ll see that in the long run.
you might actually spend sometime recentering yourself and develop something new where you ll be independant,something more creative.there s something quite good that will come up for you in the next 2 few months.
somehow you don t seem too much gutted by having lost your job.
you just have a decision to make i which direction you want to stir your life either something closer toyour heart or something that makes money,and only that without any spiritual rewards.

It did gemineye006, thank you! I'm still learning the tarot and sometimes it's not easy to decipher the messages in it. My interpretation also includes some of the points you have explained like "I'm re-centering for a new start", "I will have to make a choice", "I will get a job/opportunity". :)

Hello gemineye006, I just noticed that you were able to interpret that the job/opportunity may come in the "next 2 months". How did you read this? How can you read time scales in tarot? Thank you for your help!

oh,it s just that i don t only use the tarot,tarot is just a catalyst,a mirror.

the thing is i don t even have the cards in front of me one bit i do it by seing your cards the other bit i just use clairvoyance or what comes up when i m connected to you.

yes but tarot is not a system, cards are alive and change,it depends on your advancement.

well you just have to be open,but also understand that the cards don t have any answers really,they are just like doors

I guess I still have a long way to go... do you think clairvoyance is achievable by everyone? or just by gifted people?

it depends on each of us and yes i think it is achievable by everyone to a certain degree,everybody is gifted but not the same way.clairvoyance is not something that comes from nowhere and then you re like "i m gifted",it comes with a whole lot of trouble too. it dpends also if you are new to this orif in past lives you ve already had any experience in such things.

I've always been interested in understanding what is "beyond" the rational and physical world. So, I enjoy learning about divine, paranormal and occult things. I enjoy exploring perceptions, feelings, etc. It really fascinates me. I have tried serious things like doing some consultations with 2 or 3 tarologists with other "powers", I guess with the some "powers" you have... which were very impressive and also a few less "formal" approaches like using the ouija boards etc. A few members of my father's family were known to have mediumship capabilities.

ok because you ve actually got some,that is why i was asking you.all you have to do is to wake it up,so gobeyond your rational self.keep on exploring.maybe that is sthe new path you ve got in front of you that the cards talk about.make a choice.you re doing great seriously!

are all your family members dead?cause usually if it is in the family you could get a kind of opening initiation.
i would tell you to start now right away to follow your intuition,so basically for your own good i d tell you find your own way...
that s the best way to wake things up and practice.
but if you really want links you d have to google them.i myself don t know any cause that s how i do it, learning from my mistakes and developping the force within.
if you rely on me you don t rely on yourself so then you d just put your intuition to sleep.you know what i mean?
just go slowly things will come to you it s not things you can control.
i lost myself my clairvoyance because someone put it to sleep and it ll take a few months to come back fully.
don t rush it!

Hey! Just go to the bookstore and check out the books, inevitably one will stand out and can serve as a stepping stone: having said that, the book will be a beginning to get your brain cells flowing, the beauty of it all is that interpretation is an individual art.
Believe in yourself and what pops into your head: look at the card and see what story it tells.

Unfortunately, the last family member who had those "powers" died last year... I will follow your suggestion, google it a bit and follow my intuition. Thank you for all your help!
