I'm going to come over and hide on the porch. My 14-yr old daughter is lamenting over whether to get a used bass guitar or new electric 6 string guitar for her birthday.....in June. She is "window" shopping on eBay and I tuned her out somewhere during the discussion about it having great pickups.

Anyone have any cold lemonade or something stronger over here? LOL

Speaking of turkeys, my mom in upstate-NY said there were about 8 I think, on her back yard.

Phyllis.....I am glad to hear that you are not hurt. I know about Susan, the poor thing. It is good that she is on the mend. What a fall on the ice she had.

Vi.....you can join me on the porch if you would like. I am needing something a little stronger myself to drink these days. The challenges keep on coming, and I can't take much more. Seeing as it is a bit chilly out, maybe some hot toddies would be in order.....

I could make a little chicken salad or tuna salad to go along with the croissants if anyone is interested. Or maybe a little low salt shaved ham with swiss.....

mmmmm...chicken salad sounds good with croissants. I love croissants. Ham and swiss (or havarti) is good also.

I made some biscuits with herb and butter.

I'll have tea, honey, lemon and Southern Comfort.

I will be bringing homemade chicken salad and croissants then. Now and then I add chopped walnuts and sliced grapes to my chicken salad, or I can leave it out. What do you prefer, Phyllis?
