So, did anyone else out there play board games during the holidays? Usually when we go to visit my husband's family, we take a few board games. We had forgotten to pack any Thanksgiving and several of the kids(older teens, young adults) were disappointed - so we made sure to bring the board games for our Christmas visit.

They seem to enjoy Dominion and Settlers of Catan the most. It was a lot of fun. We need to buy a Catan expansion so more than 4 people can play.

It was great to see that even with the Wiis, PS3s, laptops, iPads, phones in the house that board games ruled over all other entertainment choices.

No not this holiday, but as a child back in Jamaica, West Indies - we did the "old" version of Monopoly. LOL, it was an "all day" event and such fun.
