I need to pick up a two-page monthly calendar for myself. I usually order from Day-timer but I have diddled around and not done so. For my son for Christmas, I picked him up a calendar with scenes of NYC. Before I give it to him I will mark on it the birthdays and anniversaries so that he'll have the info at a glance.

My son really liked the calendar of NY scenes and the fact that the important dates were marked on the appropriate dates.

Sometimes small things mean a lot.

Good for you, Angie. I don't even do that for myself. It used to be that I could remember the dates I need to know, but no longer. Time is gaining on me, or there is just too many family members and friends now. It is time for me to get more organized.

I do that at work too. I have a calendar that I mark the dates to remember and when I find out the birthdays of people I work with (from other departments), I put them on the calendar. Then on their birthday I send them an email and wish them a happy birthday. Aren't they surprised! At home, I use a birthday book but the calendar is a much better way to remember.

Every year I spend a few minutes and mark up the new calendar with the birthdays.

That's what I do every year for the kids, new calendars with birthdays and school stuff already marked on them. They seem to love it. It is a very expected gift every Christmas. I also have one posted in the kitchen which lists all family activities.

i can't manage without my huge Flylady calendar. Each year when i think i will save money and try something else, I always regret not spending the money on the right one. so I am sticking to it now!
