Angela, glad it was helpful! Bare root is the best way to plant roses, though I have also planted them later in the year from containers.

Not just roses, at this time of year you will also find fruit trees bare root, and some other types of trees also. Definitely the best time for planting fruit/nut trees, as well as roses.
