Anyone ever done any "house sitting" as a source of income?

I had a house sitting job for awhile with an agency. It's pretty easy money, but not in huge amounts. It can get a little old hanging around other people's homes and they usually leave some chores for you to do, like checking the mail, turning lights on and off, walking the dogs (if they have them), and other minor things.

Also you can usually eat their food, with their permission, and you sleep where they tell you to.

it's a plus if you can combine pet sitting with house sitting.

Usually you water plants too.

LOL Jilly, they don't want me caring for their indoor plants. Yikes, I do better with the outside ones.
