Ever brought a cacti and/or succulents into the country while traveling?

If yes, how is it surviving?

I often wondered if this was possible for 2 reasons:

(1) Getting through security smile
(2) The survival chances of the displaced plant

Thanks,

I wanted to buy cacti from Arizona but were traveling by car & only had sm. place by my feet available so it wasn't wise.

I understand there are a great many rules on plants going back & forth over state lines!

My newest love is a terrium~ with succulants and plants that need little to no care (adorned with little fairy people)
I will be starting one soon!

Hi Mary,

Did you start your terrarium? What plants did you choose? Which cacti? Please describe it for me, I would love to know.

Appreciate it and say thanks
