I always have canned tuna and sliced cheese of some kind on hand, along with salad fixings. This way I can either whip up a quick tuna salad sandwich or wrap, or pull whatever leftover meats I may have in the fridge from dinner. Sliced thin with cheese, roasted red peppers, lettuce and tomato, and whatever condiments you like on any kind of bread.....these can easily be grilled in a pan for a tasty panini type sandwich. Soup, cole slaw, pickles, and fruit are all good accompaniments.

One of the favorite meals for my family is a Sandwich Round and Soup of Choice.

One large round loaf of Jalapeno Cheese bread
Choice of two or more: Bologna, Salami, Deli sliced ham, beef, or chicken

Sliced Cheddar cheese
Sliced Jack cheese
Butter

Slice bread round crosswise so you have four layers. Butter each layer and place meats and cheese on each layer. Put layers back together, wrap tightly in foil and bake for 30 minutes at 325.

Carefully remove foil and slice round into wedges. Serve with choice of soup.

That sounds delicious and easy to do. If you've got bits and pieces of several deli meats and cheeses, you can make a unique sandwich AND clear a lot of food out of the fridgie. You could make this with sourdough, rye or pumpernickel round loaves, too.
