Great article.
I don't know that they consider there are so many individuals working remotely than there once was so the needs of the home user are greater than they used to be.
One commenter noted about the "Complacency about future of WIndows". There are so many tools that people use it will be hard to funnel them into one super product. As utopian as that would be, it won't happen.
The article is a few years old but I'm sure the premise is there that Apple still wants to be the be all and end of all of future technology. However, I just proved as much as I might love my Apple products, products I could already read books on, I still felt the need and now find great use in owning a Kindle. As redundant as I thought it might be a year ago, I see now that it serves a purpose in the market place. The same will hold true for PCs I think (and hope).
