I think you will be pleasantly surprised with Dr. Frank's Rieslings and also the sparkling wines/methode champenoise produced by the winery.

It's worth visiting the winery itself off of Keuka Lake should you find yourself in the vicinity.

So, we were at friends Christmas Day and so on Boxing day had the following

As previously mentioned. we enjoyed a first rate wine on Boxing Day - Ridge Lytton Springs Zinfandel 2008 (California), and we toasted a special friend.

As aperitif we had Ridgeview Merret-Bloomsbury 2006 (England) sparkling wine, which ran out so I opened a Nicolas Feuilatte Champagne Brut NV(France) to keep the younger son happy - he only drinks methode champenois wines. With dessert Morton Estate Late Harvet S�millon Black Label 2006 (Australia), a Christmas gift to me.
