Hi,

Postmenopausal women with early breast cancer do better if they are treated with Femara than with tamoxifen.

Hi, I have been on Femara for the last 18 months. I was previously on Tamoxifen for 12 months. In the last 18 months my bone density has declined 11%, so i now take caltrate (calcium tablets) to try to stop the rapid decline. My ALP reading from my liver function test is rising slowly also. This is coming from my liver and is an uncommon side effect of Femara. Any one else out there dealing with the same side effects from Femara??

Hi Jill,

I don't have any personal experience with Femara, but let me ask around on the breast cancer boards I subscribe to....
