Soup and Beans, from the opera "Paul Bunyan" by Benjamin Britten.

I always think of Peter Pears and Albert Herring when I eat peaches, because in "Albert Herring" also by Britten, one character says to Albert "Have a nice peach!"

I wonder if this strand has got into Classical Music by mistake? I'll check with the Food and Drinks Editor
