Mine are 10,9, 6, and 5.... but I was recently reminded of what it is like to have a one-year old.

Here are my thoughts....

Thanks, Yvonne.

I'll have to go back and reminisce about the two's. As I recall - they weren't terrible - it was the three's that were torturous. smile

Hi Lisa:

My child is now an adult, but ALWAYS will be my "baby" until the day one of us dies - age 25, an only child and my "princess"...

LOL, she did not have a terrible two's stage - believe me, I was waiting. She had a terrible 8th grade stage - but we made it through with a lot of heartache, healing and now we are BEST friends in spite of her being in Orlando, Florida and me recently moved from there to be with my boyfriend, Columbus - Georgia.

At age 53, I look back and thank God for being able to raise her in a "healthy" way in spite of having to do it for 18 years as a single parent without any help from family or the government. She will tell you, my Ma LIVED what she PREACHED - I was so not into the "do as I say" routine I grew up around, while "adults" were not doing what they said I needed to do. When possible, we need to lead by example wink smile blush

Love your site!!!!

I'm sure I'm the most senior on this forum - my 5 kids are 45, 44, 40, 38, 31.

I love it!

a child is a child is a child is a child.....

Angela ~ I love your philosophy. I'm sure it had a tremendous impact on your daughter!
