Well, it's a tiny 14 pounder, since the store that we shop at was completely out of the gigantic turkeys. I'll have to try again during the Christmas season. I really love cooking those huge birds and freezing the meat for future sandwich and soup creations.
Since we're going over to a family member's house for Thanksgiving, I'll lower my stress by cooking the turkey on Friday. Participating in the shopping festivities with bazillions of other people has no charm for me. I'd rather stay home and cook.
