Hoooo weeee! It is freezing out here today in Washoe County. The wind is strong and icy cold! I cannot even think about wearing shorts now. We had snow early this morning and late yesterday. It was too wet to stick, but it sure was cold!

I am having so much fun in a poetry contest. So far I have submitted 11 poems and will write my 12th one today. I have never joined a poetry contest before and I really hesitated. I am so glad in went ahead with it. The last day for submission will be 11/22 and winners will be announced on 12/2.

I never really considered myself a poet until I joined this contest. I am getting great reviews and some awesome comments from fellow writers.

Poetry has always been one of my favorite ways to relax and read. I take inspiration from the greats: Edgar Allan Poe, William B. Yeats, Oscar Wilde, Emily Dickensen, Robert Burns, so many...

I do not know. It sure is blue, very intense blue.

It is still irritating though. I thought fishbowl fish just floated in the bowl and only moved around when eating or agitated.

I am so excited about Thanksgiving Day. My sister is having a family gathering. So far there are 34 attending and that is just family.

Every year it seems there is one or two more babes that have come into our family. Blessed Be.

Please be sure to let us know about the poetry contest.

Wow! 34 people is a lot to seat at one gathering. I had 21 for Easter and it took a while to recover. Thanksgiving will be 11 -- 13 and we're going to fry a turkey.

Thanksgiving is the perfect time to ruminate about all the blessings in life. There are many and I'm grateful.
