I'm surprised no one ever answered this...or perhaps we can't remember that far back...LOL

We weren't allowed to date in middle or high school, so my first date was in college. We went out to eat. It was my first date so of course I didn't want to eat anything that would cause my stomach to gurgle or cause bad breathe...so I didn't eat. Then we went dancing, which I loved to do, but I was so hungry from not eating - it was hard to have fun.

I quickly learned to eat before the date....LOL...

Oh my, that was a long time ago but I do still remember it. When I was in 8th grade, my school held an Athletic Banquet for the football players, basketball players, band members and cheer leaders. After the banquet me and my date went to a movie. Since neither of us was old enough to drive, we had to ride with my best friend and her mother who also went to the movie with us. You know what though, I wasn't allowed to date yet so Mom and Dad never knew.

Cool Jenny! Sounds like it was tons of fun - mom and dad not knowing probably made it easier...giggles...

Depends on which first date you're talking about? First ever, or first date with current partner? My last first date was with a man I met online. We went to Red Robin and then took a walk arm in arm at a local park. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we are still together 10 1/2 mos later! My first date ever wasn't as memorable....I was only 17 and mainly remember that the guy broke up with me because I wouldn't put out!!

Gosh good point! Current parner or first ever.

I'm going with my current partner. I had a B & B or just old-fashioned vic. house I rented rooms out, provided meals and did laundry.

He needed a ride (he worked w/TMC) to have his cab worked on. As I pulled away, he walked out of the garage and palm downward, basically signaled for me to slow down.

I rolled down my window and he asked if I wanted to get something to eat. I said, "Sure?" When he asked where I said how bout Wendy's? So we got it to go, ate under an oak tree and said he didn't want to leave lovers

My very first date ever was to my church's youth Valentine's banquet. We got all dressed up like for Homecoming. We did NOT kiss that first night, because I was too nervous. I was 14.

I sat in my room, she entered into my room and kissed me at my cheek. I was having no clue. I was quiet.
