I love it!! It took me a few episodes to realize who were ghosts and who were real people though!!

I'm addicted to it. I love Jessica Lange, a really great part for her. I think it is the first time she's done a TV series, but I can't be certain.
The pilot episode was over the top on sex and unfortunately I can't let my teen daughter (who loves paranormal shows) watch episodes that are so explicit. It is a shame because it wouldn't hurt the story line to tone it down a bit.
I just hope it is one of those series that doesn't get taken off the air after a season. I seem to remember a Stephen King TV series ending before the story finished once (can't remember the name of the series) and another creepy series, American Gothic, also got cancelled after one season. They weren't cable shows though so maybe American Horror Story stands a chance.

True Blood is one of my favorite tv show.It is an American television series which is produced by Alan Bal.I like the role of Sookie Stackhouse in this show so much.It is a horror tv show....

I watched the second one and couldn't really get into it - I will give it a chance though, it is very sexual - in a weird way, not in a True Blood way. True Blood can be hot - this is just kinda odd LOL.
I LOVED American Gothic - I was so gutted when it just finished. It was brilliant - I hate it when they cancel good shows - so annoying. Haven't seen any of the cast in big roles really either, apart from the few obvious. It was odd seeing Caleb all grown up LOL.

Yes, I really think they could write out a lot of the sex and imply what needs to be implied (worked for Hitchcock) and the story would still work.
I figured I'd give it a season. It finishes this Wednesday in the states. Last two episodes ended in surprise. I wonder how the story will continue past the season. Maybe they should have written a mini-series instead...because the true horror would be if they are not able to sustain the momentum they have gained so far.

I just watched American Horror Story for my first time last week. My daughter explained it all to me. I really liked it and would like to catch the whole season, to start from the beginning.
Is the Jessica Lange character one of the dead? My daughter said she is not sure, but kind of thinks so.
I wonder what the newborn babe is going to be like.

Jessica Lange's character is alive. The giveaway is that she can leave the house. She lives next door because her children died in the AHS house the two times she lived there.
