BellaOnline Forums Computers Desktop Publishing An Ebook with active links?

Hi, I am thinking of publishing an ebook. I want to support my opinions with studies found in pubmed. I would like to put the links right into the discussions I write so that the reader can look immediately at the studies... is this possible in a PDF format of book? Thanks Arrow

Yes. It is an option when setting up your document to convert to pdf. I wonder, though, if all ebook readers support going to internet pages. I don't have an ebook reader so I don't know if they are connected to the internet. For a BellaOnline ebook be sure to fully write out the URLs. People like being able to print out the ebook, also - for making notes as they go along, for one thing.

Thank you. What do you mean by an ebook reader... something like the Kindle book? I figured if an ebook was downloaded to a desktop then they would be able to access live links, right? I guess many people do not put their ebooks on a desktop but put them in somehthing like kindle? but not be able to use the links when reading on there. I could recommend when they purchase this book that they put it on a desktop for active links? and if they did that then they could also put a copy in their kindle or what ever system they have?
