I have a weekly class where i need to bring a binder and a few other oddments - something I can just grab and go. I am looking around at my various tote bags and such to pick one that these things can live in. Each week on Friday mornings I scramble to find my binder and tools for the class. I can stop that frustration right now. smile

That is excellent, Jilly - reduce stress and reduce clutter! All at once!

I always bring a tote bag with me when I go with Bob to darts, to carry my school books in. That way I can do schoolwork while being there to lend him moral support.

Thanks, Lisa! I made my tote but seem to be missing a crucial booklet from my WRAP class. So i need to find that.

Also, I am not sure, but i might want to pick out a larger tote bag. I don't know if i want to leave space for more stuff. I will have to try this one at my next class and see how it feels.

Hi Jilly. You are on to something, tote bags are so useful. I volunteer a lot and I am on a number of different committees. I keep one tote bag for each commitment. When meeting time comes, I just grab and go. Another upside is I never have to file the related papers, they stay in the bag in a binder. Everyone thinks I am super organized because I always have all the document handy. But the truth is it's just the easiest, least time consuming way to manage all the paper generated.

Hi, I didn't mean to be arrogant in my last post, and I mostly hang out in the spirituality forum.. but I do need help organizing..

Burt, not sure where you have been arrogant? Keep hanging around!

Update - my class tote bag seems to be working nicely. I should consider what else I can create totes for to grab and go.

Dear Jilly -

A medical tote bag sounds fantastic. Medical trips can be full of stress, and having everything together and organized sounds like a wonderful way to offset that stress.
