Heh, i am so confused sometimes. This week i just found the car binder I made up when i bought this car. I forgot i did that. I keep it in the car as that is where the information is needed. It was under my seat. I will pull it out and add updated info to it later.

I have a 'blue box' which is like a plastic suitcase, that I contain my important papers in. It's a 'grab and go' thing with a handle and a built in emergency light.

Grab and go containers are a very good idea. I believe that everyone should have one. In a perfect world the grab and go container would be waterproof and fireproof. Anything that would be difficult to replace or that you would need to start over after an disaster should be in there.
It's also a good idea to scan and/or copy any documents you keep in a lock box at bank. Keep a backup disk and/or hard copies in the grab and go box as well. You never know when you might need quick access to that information.

OK car is COMPLETELY all set. Records are all updated. With the winters we have here in New England, with snow drifts literally over one's head, it was quite necessary for safety reasons. I'm very happy!

my car records binder keeps sliding around the floor. Yesterday I saw a snap cord on the back of the driver's seat. I think i will place the binder in there and see if it stays secure.
