Here is a quick tip for those of you who have blooming peace lilies.. As the bloom is about to open revealing its seed pod, With a pair of scissors, cut the seed pod off just above the bloom. Then plant the seed pod back into the soil. What happens next?.. For one the bloom will last nearly three months without dieing off or turning that brown dead color. After the two or three months of a white bloom, it will slowly turn green.. I've been telling florets about this trick to help them sell more peace lilies, because customers aren't to pleased at the dead foliage (dead blooms) laying in the pots.
