Green Sleeves is BEAUTIFUL!

I love the "Sound of Music" sung by Julie Andrews as well as "Edelweiss" and "The Lonely Goatherd." I saw the movie when I was little and the music has stuck with me: I end up humming and singing these songs often.

The hills are alive with the sound of music.....

Oh, you are all bringing back wonderful memories for me. I LOVE all the songs mentioned. 'The Sound of Music' is one of the best Musicals of all time, I think.

The music of Rogers and Hammerstein has always been special to me. I also loved the original film version of South Pacific. 'Some Enchanted Evening' and 'This Nearly Was Mine' still thrill me, and 'Honey Bun' can still make me laugh!

That is one of my ALL time favorite movie. Have the VHS, DVD and soundtrack. I went to see it with my grandmother when she was living.

She was always cooking. I absolutely have her cooking attributes...orange spritz cookies, hams, baked rolls. I ration carbs, ONLY if I'm not making one of her Sunday dinners, lol.
