just the sound of "invoking" a spirit sounds scary and frankly pretty dangerous. Ive read about the "Shadows" and i believe in the Evil side of things so is it smart to do magic concerning spirits? Im not sure of what "Drawing down the moon" is, not familiar with this ritual but it doesnt sound good, theres somethings i leave alone due to risk of awaking the wrong spirit/being/demon whatever you wanna call em. opinions?

Did you check some of the earlier posts on this thread?

This is a subject best taught person to person, or in a group. To this end here's a selection of covens in Oklahoma you may find useful along with the Witchvox website which I've found a handy resource in and of itself.

I also found another site specific to Oklahoma

Hope this helps

i read the first page, maybe i missed a couple cause i didnt see any info really, what im looking for anyway, and thank you for all the links i checked out that one group but idk how helpful it will be sounds like its all about fighting discrimination against pagans in the police and armed forces, idk how i can help with that either but i still joined, thank you for the new links and i do google stuff so sometimes it might be silly of me to ask when i could just google and find out, just force of habit i guess lol but i understand its best taught person to person, or by "someone" instead of just reading, the shop i get my herbs at is around an hr away , ive thought about asking them if theyd consider teaching me anything and in return id advertise their shop on my website, blogs and in my own store when i open it. I only get to make it up there once a month or so though unfortunately. thank you for the help again. :)

My pleasure Tish, we all have to start somewhere. Like Ninja, Pagans are everywhere and, when you know what to look for, you can begin to spot them. In addition to obvious Pagan shops other useful contact points are gatherings, usually mentioned on the earlier links, healing workshops, and some of the 'soft'style martial arts. I have met a lot of Witches, Druids, and followers of the Norse and Celtic traditions training in Aikido and Ninjutsu . I cover some of the connections here , as well as the time I met a Witch who was an experienced Wing Chung practitioner , so that might be a useful lead to check out.

that's awesome thank you and it might sound silly but a couple of my favorite movies are "Ip man" and "Ip man 2" Ive read a lot about Wing Chung and it was invented by a woman if i remember correctly? Its a beautiful form of MMA, the small moves that emit an extreme amount of force is great. not that id be good at any of it, Ive practiced with a staff a couple years ago but i have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and severe nerve damage so its hard for me to do any extreme activity day after day, i can get by doing something one day but the next i hurt to bad to do anything so i manage by only doing light exercises, short walks and etc. but thank you for that information i will definitely look into it. I know of one woman in my town that may be Pagan, she let my friend borrow her pendulum and told her some stuff of her beliefs but its important to her that noone in town knows shes into it so i wouldn't feel right going to her for anything and i wouldn't dare tell her secret to someone in our town, it shouldn't be a secret but i understand not feeling safe to be yourself in our town.

That's sad not being able to be yourself frown

On the martial arts front, any sensible instructor should be able to work around any physical limitations you currently have. Even to the extent of train a bit and rest, and/or come when you can. One person you may have heard of who practised Wing Chung had one leg shorter than the other, extreme short sightedness, and anger management issues, yet still succeeded and was regarded as a nice person. His name was Bruce Lee.

In addition to the usual medical treatment have you looked at energy healing forms such as Therapeutic Touch, and cranial osteopathy? You do have to be careful in selecting practitioners, as with any healing art, as some of them can be very egotistical.

Thank you, i didnt know that about him, i knew the anger management part and that he was a good person and a few other things but thats incredible and no i havent heard of those healing forms, ive looked into herbs and clearing my chakras but thats all i know so far im still learning, im open to anything though i started out with herbs trying to find something natural i can take instead of relying on pain meds cause when i dont have my Ultram i am completely incapable of living, i lay in bed for hours crying due to the pain and im generally a strong independent person so this takes its toll on me, when im down i feel worthless and like im a [censored] person cause i cant force myself to clean or anything i hate it, i got into wicca while looking for spells to heal my legs(where the most pain is) i hate having to take medicine for the chemicals and cause im dependent on them until i find something to take the pain away. Im open to any treatment though, i try my best not to let it rule my life when im not hurting though, when i have medicine i try to keep myself busy cleaning, writing or playing with my kids and im kinda OCD but i think its cause i feel like i have to make up for the times im down and cant clean so im constantly organizing, cleaning and dusting. Ive had problems with my healthcare paying for medicine so about once a month for 2-7 days im hurting so the rest of the month i try and get ready and im anxious, scared and nervous about how bad it will be but i make it through. and yes it is sad not to be able to be yourself but these small towns around here everyone almost is so judgmental of everyone else, even if they claim to be your friend they are still talking about you or laughing at you behind your back so needless to say its very rare that you find a true friend down here. Thats why i go online lol people can still hurt you online but usually they dont have anyone else to spread rumors about you with.

Fibromyalgia is a very painful thing to have. As a qualified hypnotherapist I've not yet had anyone come to me with that yet, so I don't know how effective hypnosis would be in managing it. Unfortunately most of the medical world still has this worldview - despite what the client knows is possible. Have you looked into self-hypnosis? Particularly as it applies to astral projection?

I have read about astral projection before but dont know much about it and no i didnt think hypnosis would work since its not really "in my head" i guess, but hypnosis could maybe "trick" my body not only my mind? That would be something to look into, and yes it is very painful i pray for others all the time,im in a support group via facebook and i never knew there were people out there that felt just like i did, my family is kinda, well they act like they think im faking it or somthing and that hurts my heart cause theyre my family and their pretty much calling me a liar and id be one messed up person to fake this, the crying and everything else, anyway i started to think maybe there was something wrong with me in my head, until i reached out to others and everything they felt and went through was exactly the same so i guess i dont feel so alone and i have people to talk to instead of trying to vent to my mother and her tell me "i dont feel like talking right now", (which is everytime i need someone to talk to bad). When you treat people for things like this i bet it would help them alot too if youd mention support groups via online, just a thought i had just now lol. would hypnosis work for similar conditions?

The mind and body are closely linked, and you can do a lot to manage pain through self-hypnosis, meditation, and disciplines such as yoga. In many cases physical symptoms can be greatly eased, but you do need to find a good therapist as with any form of healing art.

On the Astral front here is an article I wrote on building a sacred space on the Astral , and my article on using lucid dreaming to achieve astral projection
