Anyone watching Dexter?

What do you think

For a psycho-drama with in depth character development and lots of blood, I recommend it. The character is very unusual and makes me think about what people's real motivations are.
I always close my eyes with the blood scenes..
Not for kids.

I like Dexter, the standards rather than morals approach sits well with me

Did you know that Dexter is married to his character sister, Deb, in real life?

Yes, similar to the star of 'Psych' being in a relationship with the detective on the show he is always flirting with.

I love Dexter, I sat for a whole week and watched all the seasons available. Didn't know Deb was his real life wife, clever casting. Waiting for the next season to come to the UK.

Okay... nope, I've never watched it. But I keep hearing about how good it is! Arrow, I'm with you, I'd have to close my eyes at the bloody scenes.

He only kills bad people, right? I hadn't watched it because I'd heard it was a show about a serial killer - and I didn't want to be freaked out.

Law and Order sometimes puts me on edge!

I used to watch Dexter and closed my eyes at the gory scenes. However, a few seasons in they had a storyline with a child abuser who actively tortured kids by breaking their fingers and so on. I just couldn't watch it. I could not find any reason to keep watching the show, giving that it involved graphic portrayals of children being tortured as "entertainment."

I imagine that plotline has ended, but I never went back. I think for me that there are already too many shows to watch and not enough time. So I have to prune it down to the "very best" for me.
