Hi, I'm new to this forum but looks like a lot of helpful information being shared here. I am currently making a rag doll with the same rounded shaped cloth piece for front and back. I'd like a little more dimension while still using muslin and keeping it simple. Also can't see how you would attach a rounded head to a cloth neck securely. Here are picture on my blog of the dolls I am doing now. [img:center]http://youandmedolls.blogspot.com[/img] I have seen a cloth doll head with a seam down the middle of the face and don't like the looks of that. Don't want to sound picky but you know us doll makers have a vision for their dolls. Any help would be appreciated, even a good book suggestion. Thanks, Diane

The book "Cloth Dolls" by Brenda Brightmore has a few different ways to make 3 dimensional heads. It is a great book. You can read my review of the book Here.
