Hello Everybody, I haven't been here in a while. Quite frankly, I got very frustrated at what I could and couldn't post. Despite explaining that my post options show that HTML and UBBCode is disabled, all I was getting were instructions on how to use them and no explanation as why they are disabled. Also, despite being a member for quite some time, I am still classed as a newbie and I can not find out how to alter that status. So, if anybody can tell me how many posts I need to make or how long I need to be a member for so that I can post properly, I would really appreciate it. In the meantime, I am so pleased to be able to tell you that I have made yet another issue of "Inside Crochet" with my Crotat Jewels pattern. I am really pleased with thone, the photos look stunning in the mag - far better than I take! You can see a preview of the mag on Yudu. Just search for Inside Crochet. I don't often frequent crochet but I do like it...I have this beautiful afgan a grandmother...well..blah, blah, lol.

But to get past the "Newbie" you just need to post more - kind of thing, then it's kind of like you're different animals and status, like "Koala," "Chipmunk," etc.

It can feel frustrating getting the hang of it. But it really is worth the effort. I can't think of any place better or more where people really take to heart what's written.

Thanks for the welcome and the information. I don't tend to go on the other boards as I am limited in time due to being so busy. Things are really taking off with my patterns since being in the magazine so I have to concentrat on writing more. I am playing with Crotat at the moment. Its such a pretty technique. I also work and have a family to look after so forum time has to come last.

Well even if it's little time, if it comes from a good source it's usually worth its weight in gold
