After the article on managing outdoor fires I saw a dramatic example of how far away you have to be from foliage to make sure it doesn't get burned. Some yobs had set a car on fire outside a row of houses. Not only were the houses 30 yards away left with blistered paint, but the foliage damage and plant death in gardens extended up to nearly 75 yards!

The police and some VERY angry Druids are looking for the culprits - if they are lucky the police will get them first!
