Izanami-no-Mikoto is a Japanese Goddess, she is the wife of the Japanese god Izanagi-no-Mikoto, Izanami-no-Mikoto is no ordinary goddess because she holds the power of Life and Death in her hands, want to know more about her, her links to the history of Japan?

The interesting part is, despite being a goddess she had her weak moments too, are you interested in knowing the achilles heel of the Japanese goddess, Izanami-no-Mikoto, then do click away!

A fascinating story Joy, have never heard about the Japanese Goddess Izanami-no-Mikoto before.

She had something of a bitter end though for someone who hadn't really done anything wrong. Well of course apart from talking to her husband first when, being the man, it should have been he who spoke.

And that the eight Japanese islands were named idividually after the couple's eight healthy children is an interesting legend. Will look at them with different eyes now.

Thanks for the article, it is always fun to learn something new.
