Everyone has their own remedies for sore throats that they use. I recently found one that worked better than anything including prescription medication.

A small glass with a little bit of honey, apple cider vinegar, and hot water. Wow! I felt it working immediately.

Sounds horrible! But it probably works great. I've been fortunate with every other ailment I've had over the last couple of years, a sore throat has not been one. :-)

I know way back in my grandparents time they actually made you drink hot tea with a little vicks in it - can you say "poison" LOL

Yuck! I wouldn't do that!

My mother always had me gargle with salt water but it never did any good for me though it worked wonders for her.
