Speaker Boehner is preaching about the need to cut spending, he and the House Republican leadership still plan to spend hundreds of thousands of our tax dollars defending the discriminatory Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).

The majority of Americans find it shameful to continue this discrimination, and there is no justification for Speaker Boehner to spend money � the people's money � to fight back against basic fairness.

Thank you Connie, I agree. In fact, when our personal budget is stretched to the limit we certainly don't have money to waste, especially on something so discriminatory.

They can claim to defend Marriage all they want. It still won't reverse the high rate of Divorce in this country. If you want to defend Marriage how about trying the reverse the high rate of Divorce.
