Hey April,

Okay, I know you said don't laugh but April! I thought you gave a very honest and great review and although it had humor it, I thought you were very honest about product. I'm sure your readers appreciated it when you said that the product was not for you because of your hair texture but that it might be a better product for others. Thanks for sharing!

ok now that was a product review! Thank you for not saying how great product such n such was and how 'it works for everyone!' You poor dear-it sounds like a disappointing, frustrating let down. People will be saving money after reading your review.

l'oreal true match face powder-- was so evil for me! First 'true match' my butt! I've yet to find a foundation that matches my skin tone at all. 2nd, I shook it up, flipped the brush and the powder flew all over my black shirt. Changed the shirt, looked back in the mirror and had powder all over my hair! Brushed that out and I finally dusted on this so called 'true match' (onto my face where it's supposed to go) that I wanted so badly.

10 minutes later, I was covered in hives and couldn't breathe! My friend told me it had starch so I thought it was safe. I'm allergic to talcum powder which happens to be the main ingredient!

Have you ever tried it?

GG,

I wanted to like the product, but I had to tell you all the truth. It just doesn't work for me.

But Wow--you with the powder. What an experience.

I haven't tried that particular face powder, but how terrible for you. First you messed up your shirt, then your hair, and then you break out and can't breathe!

With powders I usually mix & match two shades. I like using two because there are certain times of the year when our skin becomes darker or lighter. This way I'm covered.

You'd think with all the powders out there now, us Ethnic Beauties would have an easier time of it right? wink

Hi Tuculia,

It's always so nice to see you! Girl, I did not think it was funny when I wanted it to work and it did something altogether different.

I still think people with different hair than mine might have a better experience.

To other readers, if you've tried a product and liked it, let us know. If you didn't we'd like to know that too, and why.

Thanks a bunch!

Do enjoy the article Neutrogena Rapid Clear, Product Review

If youve used or sampled a product that youd like to review, why not do it here?

If it was a hit, the ethnic beauty community may want to try it.

If it was a miss, we sure would like to steer clear of it. smile

Hi Linda,

I almost wished it had been a pudding to eat, then I would not have been disappointed, but like you said, we get those things.

So lovely that you stopped by! smile
