it's chilly winter here in Australia, time to curl up near the fire with a good video or three. I've got Shaun of the Dead, the Mummy trilogy and Korean thriller Memories of Murder on the must-see-again list. What are your favorite reruns on home movie night?

won't be watching this one again:

definitely some good stuff there. I have Star Trek (2009) great movie, it's on the list. Have not seen 5,000,000 years to Earth for decades - must track it down.

Chilly winter what a world away from sunny Bali! How about these for movie night:

Contact
District 9
Galaxy Quest (funniest pseudo-SF flick ever)
Ladyhawke my personal favorite
The Lord of the Rings trilogy (that'll take a week)
Terminator quartet

Happy watching!

Yes, I agree with you about "Galaxy Quest". It is very funny. Have you seen the new movie "Paul"? It is funny too. Paul (2011) trailer

"Contact" is good, but the book is so much better. My biggest disappointment with "Contact" is that Carl Sagan passed away before the movie was completed.
