Great article! managing my goals is one of my main life activities. Seriously. i have a ton of deferred goals and am certain that eventually they will all get done.

That's a great article! Absolutely I believe the research that says the human mind does best when focusing strongly on one thing at a time.

Leah, this was just what I needed to read at just this moment.

I treat my goals like I treat my books.

I work on 20 at a time.

Literally, I made a list of all the books I'm actually reading right now, and it came out to 16.

I actually managed to finish one a couple of weeks ago LOL!!!

LOL, Deanna. That sounds complicated. I assume you mean non fiction books. I can only read one fiction book at a time. But I tend to have nonfictions that I am breezing though here and there at all times.

Just what I needed to hear too. One goal at a time. Back to the lists again, something I never do. So I guess it's the lists.

I'm a lot like that! I'm an overly ambitious person and often find myself burdened with way too much for a 23 year old girl. Unfortunately, my culture encourages early everything; you need to get a job quickly, get married and have kids even quicker, and just become this perfect human being in no time. Hence, the to do list never ends, because these are lifetime achievements and if they happen overnight then you've made the decisions way too quickly.

Leah here:). I feel this way often! I've really been working on it - I like the idea of one goal at a time. Jilly, I used to have a worry box - sounds a little like your serenity box. Maybe it's time to bring it back out:). Writing always helps me calm down too.
