Too true Phyllis!

It's one thing, you know, people are one thing day to day and maybe come online to say or be something else. Present themselves...half way?? I don't have the right words.

But when you know your dear friend AND they are online Souls -that's an entirely different thing. You know when they are them and when maybe something's not so right and we're right there, in the distance for the most part, but right there when we're needed. ((hugs))

Technology does has its virtues.

On the one hand, in my opinion we're not entirely balanced to keep implementing faster tech. It's hard to put into words but if it goes too fast, too long, it seems a destructive path.

However, without technology, I wouldn't have had the chance to meet the people/Souls I have in person or on-line, it's just a great way to make those dear friend connections! smile

It sure works for me, Elleise, since I have no car and little time or finances to travel.

I actually share some things with online friends and feel closer to them than most of my 'in person' friends. I have met some wonderful souls online, some very spiritual and loving people. smile

I have many great friends online. And I've even met some of them. Whether you want them to be just your acquaintances or make them real friends depends on you.

Nicely said, jodiemt.

I have many good friends, a lot of them online. I find that no matter what happens in the friendship, the true friends are those who stand by us when the road gets bumpy.

"Friends are quiet angels who lift you to your feet when your wings have trouble remembering how to fly."

These friends may walk away, but whether they come back or not, they are always a part of you, always in your heart.

It is the true friends who walk with you through bad times and good times. The ones who assure you in many ways that they are on your side forever more. These are dearest friends and I have been blessed to have them in my life.

I have been very blessed as well to have friends that I have known for a while, and also online friends I have met not too long ago. Even my online friends have been there for me through difficult times, and I appreciate their caring and concern. It can make all the difference in the world to have that love and support.
