I absolutely love the new Crime TV series The Chicago Code. I have not found such a great series since the original Law & Order. I am not a fan of 'reality' tv and so I find this show very refreshing. The cast is great and the dialogue is right on the money. Anyone else watching this TV series? What are your thoughts? I also happen to enjoy The Good Wife!

My husband liked this show but now it's been announced that it's been cancelled.

We enjoyed that show too. It's no worse than some others on TV so not sure why they cancelled it. The networks are too quick to pull the plug on shows. You never know if you should watch a new one or not. Sometimes they cancel them after only a few episodes.

It drives me nuts when a show gets canceled before you learn what happens after the cliff hanger :::Grrrr:::

At least they could wrap it all up, ya know?

I hate getting to wrapped up in network shows because they cancel them at the drop of a hat, without letting the catch on. Fox and the cable stations give a show a chance.

I think the fact that they drop them so quickly goes against them as people just don't watch them, knowing they will be gone soon.

I read that with more and more people on the internet and doing other computer things that distract them from TV shows, that networks don't think people will watch intense dramas anymore. I think really it's because reality tv is so much cheaper to produce. Unfortunately, I don't care for reality shows much.
