Problogger Darren Rowse and a few others had their youtube accounts suspended without notice because they titled their video Secrets to Making Money Online.

Rowse is a fairly ethical guy who doesn't promote scams. Do you think this is fair? Shouldn't you be allowed to title your video whatever you like and say whatever you like. I guess youtube doesn't think so. I find this somewhat disturbing.

They broke Google's rules. One of the rules of Google is that you are not allowed to tell anyone how to make money with Google, or optimize your earnings.

I write on Xomba and two months ago they deleted 6 of my articles and didn't tell me.

It wasn't even for a violation of rules, but for low traffic.

These sites have their own sets of rules that may seem unfair to others. The only answer is not to depend on one site or blog, but many.

I'm sure if you "google" (ha ha) you'll find the article pretty quickly. That's what so awesome about google. I don't know what content was in his video. I only read his side of the story. Either way that's what happens when you put all your traffic eggs in one basket! You gotta have multiple traffic sources or your screwed!

Whoa, that's interesting. I've never heard of Rowse, but now I want to check him out LOL!

He's huge. His blog rakes in big cashola ($40,000 per month, yes per month, in advertising) but not many can do what he does.

He blogs about how to blog and make money at it and those people tend to make more money than those who blog about hobbies, etc.

I hadn't heard that he got kicked off YouTube. Guess it gave him some new material for his blog tho-lol

I do see lots of blogs about blogging! I always thought that was so funny, but apparently it's a hot topic. Cool!

I never heard this 'News' if it was happened to problogger then it must be a hot news. And yes I don't think Rowse only have Google as a money making source for his blog. (Just make a search about the word 'Adsense' in Google you will find his article on first page, where he says he makes his 35% income from adsense) )

Imagine if a ton of your traffic was coming from youtube? That would hurt regardless of how you make your money.
